In just a few years, AIR Marine has become the standard wind turbine among blue water cruisers selling over 18,000 turbines worldwide.

More power

Power like you’ve never seen from a battery-charging wind turbine. A new alternator, more advanced airfoil and state-of-the-art electronics enhance the AIR marine’s performance by over 30%.

Quite operation

The AIR Marine operates quieter as a result of two significant design improvements. The new alternator is 23% slower and our exclusive Autobrake regulator automatically slows the blades to a silent spin when the batteries are charged.

Reliability

The new body design efficiently flows excess heat into the wind reducing operating temperature by 20%. The new body also doubles the tip-to-tower clearance for reliability you can count on during storm conditions.

Features

  • Exclusive new Autobrake slows the blades to silent spin when batteries are charged
  • Exclusive sophisticated internal charge controller, externally adjustable for any type of battery
  • New heat-sinked electronics improve reliability, increase output and offer better control
  • Variable pitch aerolastic carbon fiber blades
  • Maintenance free - Only two moving parts
  • Marine quality powder coated aluminum body, all stainless steel hardware, marine grade wire, water tight housing
  • Brushless permanent magnet alternator

Optional tower kit

  • All stainless steel hardware with self locking nuts
  • Mast and stays are white powder-coated aluminum
  • The 9’ mast (2.7m) has an outside diameter of 1.9” (48mm) also known as 1.5” schedule 40 pipe. The two 9’ (2.7m) stays have an outside diameter of 1” (25.4mm)
  • Specially designed built-in vibration dampening mounts minimize noise transmission caused by wind generators
  • Tilting mast base for easy installation
  • Fully adjustable stay anchor base mounts
  • Designed to withstand hurricane force winds
  • Can be installed on transom or deck in just a few hours
  • Mast and hardware kit sold separately
