BACK

This system is identical to the SQ Flex Wind system, with the addition of a CU200 control unit. The SQ Flex Wind system is based on wind energy as the only energy source for pump operation. The system is suitable for installation in areas where the wind is almost constant, seen over a period of time. As the turbine noise level increases with an increase in wind speed, siting of the wind turbine near a residence is not recommended.

The CU200 offers indication of:

  • full water reservoir (level switch activated)
  • pump operation
  • instantaneous input power
  • dry running
  • service required
  • insufficient energy supply

The IO 102 breaker box makes it possible to brake the wind turbine when there is no need for water pumping, the system require service or during extreme wind occurences. This system also have the following benefits:

  • ease of installation
  • a minimum of maintenance is required
  • few and simple components

Typical SQ Flex Wind system with CU200 control unit configuration

1 - SQF pump
2 - Pump cable
3 - Cable clips securing cable
4 - Safety rope
5 - Wire clamp
8 - H80 wind turbine
9 - IO 102 breaker box
11 - CU 200 control unit
14 - Water reservoir
15 - Level switch

CU 200
A user-friendly interface box that maintains two-way communication with the pump and monitors the operating conditions. Built-in diagnostics indicate faults and dry-running, display operating status power consumption and level switch input.

IO 102 Breaker box
A very simple and easy-to-use system and with cable interface.

H80 WIND TURBINE
Produces high voltage DC output to power the SQFlex pump at maximum efficiency. It can be used in combination with GF43 Solar Module. Startup wind speed of only 7MPH and peak output of 900W, make the H80 Turbine an excellent choice in a wide variety of locations.

Level Switch
Save energy as you save water. With a level switch inside the storage tank connected to the CU 200 control unit, the pump knows when the tank is full and shuts itself off.
