- the best of both worlds, a combination of solar and wind energy

The SQ Flex Combo water supply system is ideal in areas where the solar or wind energy resource is sufficient to run the pump. The energy supply to the pump is a combination of solar and wind energy. As the turbine noise level increases with an increase in wind speed, siting of the wind turbine near a residence is not recommended.

The CU200 offers indication of:

  • full water reservoir (level switch activated
  • pump operation
  • instantaneous input power
  • dry running
  • service required
  • insufficient energy supply

The IO 102 breaker box makes it possible to brake the wind turbine when there is no need for water pumping, the system require service or during extreme wind occurences. This system also have the following benefits:

  • offers water supply at night (if wind power is available) or any other time not enough solar energy is available.
  • easy to install
  • a minimum of maintenance is required
  • few and simple components

Typical SQ Flex Combo with CU200 system configuration

1 - SQF pump
2 - Pump cable
3 - Cable clips securing cable
4 - Safety rope
5 - Wire clamp
6 - Solar array
7 - Solar array support structure
8 - H80 wind turbine
9 - IO 102 breaker box
11 - CU 200 control unit
14 - Water resrvoir
15 - Level switch

CU 200
A user-friendly interface box that maintains two-way communication with the pump and monitors the operating conditions. Built-in diagnostics indicate faults and dry-running, display operating status power consumption and level switch input.

IO 102 Breaker box
A very simple and easy-to-use system and with cable interface.

Level Switch
Save energy as you save water. With a level switch inside the storage tank connected to the CU 200 control unit, the pump knows when the tank is full and shuts itself off.

H80 WIND TURBINE
Produces high voltage DC output to power the SQFlex pump at maximum efficiency. It can be used in combination with GF43 Solar Module. Startup wind speed of only 7MPH and peak output of 900W, make the H80 Turbine an excellent choice in a wide variety of locations.

GF43 SOLAR MODULE
Specifically designed to power the SQFlex system, the GF43 produces a high DC voltage of 140VDC, reducing losses through cables and providing peak efficiency for the SQFlex pump. Each GF43 is capable of producing 43 watts of peak power and is designed to be connected in parallel with other GF43's. This allows the SQFlex system to be optimized to your location & water requirements.
